The Defense Information School has announced the 2026 Defense Information School Hall of Fame inductees.
Col.(Ret.) Jeremy Martin, long time APAA Board of Directors member and Life Member, and former DINFOS Commandant, Senior Executive, and current Director of Global Public Affairs for Bell, has been named to the Class of 2026.
Each year, the DINFOS Hall of Fame recognizes alumni whose careers reflect sustained excellence and leadership across military service, public affairs, industry, and government.
The 2026 class represents a powerful legacy of storytelling, service, and dedication to the profession:
Vice President JD Vance, U.S. Marine Corps veteran
Col. Jeremy Martin, U.S. Army (ret.)
Col. Rivers Johnson, U.S. Army (ret.)
Chief Photographer’s Mate Donald “Chip” Maury, U.S. Navy (ret.)
In its announcement, DINFOS recognized these honorees as having carried forward the DINFOS mission in meaningful ways, shaping communication efforts at the highest levels and strengthening the connection between the military and the public.
The 2026 DINFOS Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held Thursday, August 13, 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Defense Information School, 6500 Mapes Road, Fort Meade, MD. The ceremony will be live-streamed on the DINFOS Facebook page and on DVIDS.
